BNY Mellon has hired Judy Barton as senior wealth director in Dallas as the latest senior business development addition in a flurry of hires.

BNY Mellon has recruited Judy Barton as a senior wealth director for business development in Dallas, TX.

The hire comes as part of BNY Mellon's ongoing drive to boost its global business development team by 50. Earlier this week, Christian Griffin was named as managing director for business development in Westport, CT. 

Barton joins after eight years at Sanford C Bernstein, where she was a partner. Previously at US Trust, she advised individuals and families on corporate and private business transactions, divorce, retirement and trust and estate planning.

As of December 31, 2014, BNY Mellon had $28.5 trillion in assets under custody and administration, and $1.7 trillion in assets under management.
