BNY Mellon Adds To Private Banking Team On East Coast

BNY Mellon has appointed Brian Moroz as regional director for private banking serving clients in New York, Western Connecticut, New Jersey and Long Island.
Moroz is based in New York and reports to William E Johnston, head of the firm’s private banking solutions group, the firm said yesterday.
Previously, Moroz worked for 12 years at Wells Fargo where he was most recently regional private banking manager and senior vice president in Charlotte, North Carolina. There he led a team of private bankers and oversaw a $1 billion loan portfolio and $1.1 billion in deposits. Prior to that he was with BB&T for four years as a senior banking officer serving the bank’s South Charlotte market.
Moroz earned a Bachelor of Science from East Carolina University and completed specialized banking programs with the BB&T School of Banking at Wake Forest University and the Risk Management Association Commercial Lending School.
