BMO Launches Mobile App For Advisors

Continuing a trend around the use of mobile apps among finance professionals that set in a few years ago, BMO has launched one for iPads in the US.

BMO Global Asset Management, the investment management arm of New York-listed BMO Financial Group, has rolled out an iPad app for financial advisors and other investment professionals.

The app is available in the US for free via iTunes and includes a “virtual briefcase” feature, allowing users to safely store fund-related documents.

“This app puts valuable information about BMO Funds right at the fingertips of our trusted partners, who are increasingly mobile. In building this app, we paid special attention to the user interface to provide a simple, yet customizable, user experience,” said Barry McInerney, co-chief executive at BMO Global Asset Management.

“Using the login feature, users can share those bundled updates, insights and analyses, as each piece of content can be easily emailed to their clients,” added Ben Jones, managing director of intermediary distribution at BMO Global Asset Management.
