The Canadian investment research firm has enhanced its strategy offerings.

BCA Research has launched EM Equity Sector Strategy (EMES), to provide investors with research, analytics and investment recommendations within the emerging markets equity market.

EMES combines BCA’s macroeconomic framework with industry expertise, fundamental company analysis, and quantitative modeling to identify unique insights and actionable investment opportunities for a range of risk profiles and investor requirements.

The service delivers investment cases and market updates on a weekly basis, regular analyst access and an online toolset, including a database and a proprietary model that scores and ranks every country/sector pair to identify opportunities within emerging markets.

It is led by chief strategist Garry Evans, who has 30 years of market experience including as an Asia-Pacific strategist. 

“While the macro environment for emerging markets remain problematical, valuations in some EM sectors are very attractive and investors need more help than ever to identify bottom-up opportunities among sectors, and stocks, while mitigating downside risks,” said Bashar AL-Rehany, chief executive of BCA Research.
