Arbuthnot Latham Adds Three Senior Hires

UK-headquartered private bank Arbuthnot Latham has made three appointments to its exeter regional office.

UK-headquartered private bank Arbuthnot Latham has made three appointments to its Exeter regional office.

Chris Reah and Matthew Elliott have joined the branch as senior private banker and private banker respectively, the firm said in a statement.

Arbuthnot Latham also announced the appointment of Ian Scott as head of its South West regional office. He will be based in the firm’s Exeter office and will continue in his role as head of wealth planning.

Reah began his career as an advisor at NatWest Stockbrokers and then moved to Coutts in 2003. After a period as a private banker on Sloane Street in London, he returned to the South West in 2008 and was part of the team which opened Coutts’ Exeter office.

Elliott spent seven years at Coutts in London prior to his appointment to Arbuthnot Latham in Exeter. He began his career at Coutts as an assistant in their sports and entertainment team and more recently was a private banker in their ultra-high net worth department, specialising in banking and lending.
