Peter Yeates, currently a board member of HSBC’s private banking business in France, is to become the new head of the bank’s business in Luxembourg. He replaces David Levy, who is retiring.
The announcement follows on from a host of senior moves at the private bank, which is obviously keeping the private bank’s chief executive, Clive Bannister, busy.
Last week, Mark McCombe was announced as the next head of the UK business, replacing long-time private banker and one of the best known faces in the world of private banking, Marcus Gregson.
Earlier in the same week, the private bank appointed Chris Meares as head of its global wealth solutions business. Mr Meares is to take over from Jonathan Hubbard who is retiring from the bank.
