Ameriprise Welcomes Advisors Running More Than $400 Million
The advisors have joined the US business from Cetera Advisors and Edward Jones.
Ameriprise Financial has added a group of advisors collectively overseeing more than $400 million of client money to its independent channel.
Albert Stanton, joined from Cetera Advisors with $125 million in client assets in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Kevin Frontone, joined from Edward Jones with $107 million in client assets in Springfield, Illinois. Separately, Kent Hunter joined from Edward Jones with $172 million in client assets in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
“We were looking to increase our suite of resources, technology and support to provide an enhanced client experience,” Stanton said. “After an extensive search, Ameriprise was the clear choice for us.”
The practice is supported by marketing manager and registered financial consultant, Caroline Stanton, client service manager, Susan Hayes, office manager, Kathleen Brennan, and founder and consultant, Joseph Sullivan.
In June, this news service reported that financial advisor Michael Schwartz and his team had joined Iron Birch Advisors, an independent channel of Ameriprise Financial. They had been working with Cetera Advisor Networks. In April, Ameriprise Financial’s branch channel brought in father-son team Harry Slade III and Harry Slade IV. They serve clients in Ellicott City, Maryland. Slade III, a 25-year industry veteran and Slade IV, joined from Edward Jones and manage about $330 million in assets.
