Broader view
"One of the biggest challenges in wealth-management is having a
complete view of the client's financial situation," says Blaine
Maxfield, president of wealth-management solutions at Wayne,
Pa.-based SunGard. "SunGard's integration with Albridge helps
users to leverage the data-consolidation strengths of Albridge
and use that information in a data-collection process with
SunGard's financial-planning tools, which help advisors create an
unlimited number of what-if' planning scenarios and then update
them instantly with account data from Albridge."
The data integration gives advisors who use SunGard
PlanningStation and Albridge's data services -- RIAs, individual
financial planners, broker-dealer home-office reps and bank-based
wealth managers -- access to customer account data and
consolidated views of customer assets, according to SunGard.
Albridge executive v.p. Jake Rohn says the point of integrating
his firm's account data with SunGard's PlanningStation is to help
advisors get a better sense of their clients holdings and the
degree to which financial plans are succeeding. "Our open
architecture approach helps financial advisors to efficiently
access an accurate, holistic view of client data through
SunGard's best-of-breed financial planning tools and wealth
management solutions," he adds.
Lawrenceville, N.J.-based Albridge provides enterprise
wealth-management services to more than 90,000 financial advisors
at 150 financial institutions.
