The firm is looking to boost its presence in the Golden State with its latest hire.

Heffernan Financial Services, an advisory firm, has appointed Jennifer Owen as a financial advisor in the Irvine, California office.

Owen has more than ten years’ experience in the sector, the firm said in a statement earlier in the week.

Prior to Heffernan, she worked at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, specializing in the investment and planning needs of high net worth clients. 

"We're excited to add an experienced certified financial planner to our team," said Blake Thibault, managing director. "Jen shares our passion for promoting financial wellness and literacy and we look forward to her helping our clients with all their financial needs."
