Advent Software, the US-listed financial services software firm, has entered a partnership with RIMES Technologies Corporation to expand the availability of index data to users of Advent Portfolio Exchange, its portfolio and client relationship management platform.

Under the deal Advent will promote RIMES’ data aggregation service to its APX clients while RIMES will give APX users access to additional index data for use with the platform’s performance analytics functions. Advent’s current index data service offers security and sector level performance data from Standard & Poor’s and Russell Investments and the alliance with RIMES will complement this, the firm said in a statement.

RIMES positions itself as a pioneer in the provision of financial data and analytics via the internet and currently offers access to over 300 financial databases.
