A new RIA firm has been launch by the founder of Windward Investment Management in Boston.

Stephen Cucchiaro has established 3EDGE Asset Management, a Boston, MA-headquartered advisory firm serving private clients and institutional investors.

Cucchiaro, who is president, chief investment officer and chairman of the investment committee, said he has invested substantially all of his family’s liquid net worth in the 3EDGE strategies.

Cucchiaro was the founder, and president and CIO of Windward Investment Management, which was acquired by Charles Schwab in November 2010. 

Other senior executives at the firm include: Robert Phillips, managing partner and chief technology officer; DeFred Folts, managing partner; Mark Szigety, managing director of research; Monica Chandra, managing director; Kristi Hillyer, director operations; and Connor Bair-Cucchiaro, associate of operations and client service.
