Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Janney Montgomery Scott, Janus Henderson

The latest senior wealth management moves, appointments and personnel changes in the North American sector.

Montgomery Scott has appointed financial advisor Todd Phelan
to join its Willett Phelan Myers Rodts Wealth Management Group.
With Phelan’s arrival, the group will operate as a 10-person team overseeing more than $1.5 billion in assets. Phelan will initially join Janney’s Atlanta office before opening a new permanent location in Auburn, the firm’s first location in Alabama, which is set to open in early 2027.
Previously affiliated with Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, Phelan brings nearly 30 years of industry experience and manages more than $125 million in client assets. He is joined by private client associate Monica Venable.
Janus Henderson
Janus
Henderson, a London-headquartered investment house, has
appointed Shilpee Raina as lead portfolio manager on the firm’s
"flagship" large cap growth fund, Janus Henderson Forty, as well
as the Transformational Growth ETF. She will work with PM Brian
Recht.
Joining the business on January 1, Raina will be based in New York. Prior to this, Raina worked at JP Morgan Asset Management, where she served as co-portfolio manager on the Large Cap Core Equity Strategy within the US Equity Group. Previously, she served as research analyst for the JPMorgan Equity Income and US. Value Funds, covering the consumer sector.
Raina will be succeeding PM Nick Schommer who is leaving Janus Henderson, after 13 years with the firm.
