The move pushes the Portland firm’s total assets toward more than $740 million.
Great Diamond Partners, a Portland-based wealth management firm, has added Stephen Poulos as senior financial advisor.
Poulos – formerly with HeadInvest, where he served as partner and portfolio manager – brings more than $125 million in potential assets under management (AuM).
His hire marks an expansion for Great Diamond Partners, which manages about $640 million in client assets. With Poulos, the firm’s total AuM is expected to increase to about $765 million, the firm said in a statement.
“Steve’s experience, character, and dedication to clients make him an ideal addition to our team,” said Helen Andreoli, Great Diamond Partners’ managing partner. “He shares our belief that doing what’s right for the client is the only way to build trust and drive long-term success.”
At Great Diamond Partners, Poulos will be involved in advanced financial planning, investment strategy, and tax-focused advisory work – all in service of a long-standing commitment to clients. “This transition is about creating the best outcomes for the families I work with,” Poulos said. “Great Diamond offers the structure, culture, and team support to deliver even more value.”
The Maine firm is also welcoming portfolio manager Mark Doehla, formerly with HM Payson, who will deepen its investment expertise and bolster its commitment to personalized service.
“Mark’s experience across multiple asset classes and his ability to communicate clearly to clients are invaluable qualities,” said Jack Piper, a founding partner at Great Diamond Partners.
