City National Recruits Six From BNY For San Francisco

City National Bank has hired six banking and investment management veterans from BNY Mellon Wealth Management for its Private Client Services group in San Francisco.

John Dowling joins as senior private banker from BNY Mellon Wealth Management where he held the same role. Kelly Gaynor and Corey Cronin come on board as senior private client advisors. Both were senior portfolio managers at BNY.

David Glotzer and Shawn Brown, also senior private client advisors, were most recently directors at BNY focusing on high net worth families. Debra Brusatori joins as senior personal trust officer responsible for the administration of personal trust, investment management and custodial accounts for clients in Northern California.

"City National continues to grow its wealth management business in San Francisco and the addition of these six advisors will help us manage the complex financial needs of more high net worth families, select nonprofits and professional services firms here in the Bay Area," said Kent Grubaugh, senior vice president and manager of Private Client Services in San Francisco.

City National has been on a hiring spree lately staffing up in California and Las Vegas as previously reported in Family Wealth Report.
