Wells Fargo Eyes Adding 1,400 New Brokers In 2010

Wells Fargo Advisors expects to hire more than 1,400 brokers this year, according to a report by Dow Jones last Friday.

About 1,000  brokers will be recruited from other firms, and another 400 will be trained, Wells Fargo Advisors chief executive Danny Ludeman said in an interview.

Last year Wells Fargo added 1,700 producers, including 400 trainees.
