Umpqua Private Bank Hires Former BoA Advisor

Oregon-based Umpqua Bank has appointed Rex Ritter as vice president relationship manager for its private banking division.

Mr Ritter was most recently a private client advisor within Bank of America’s private wealth management group.

Mr Ritter’s appointment follows that of Jennifer Flickinger, a specialist in trust services, who joined
Umpqua Private Bank from Wells Fargo’s private banking division at the end of September.

Umpqua Private Bank opened its doors to high net worth clients in September this year as part of a broader wealth management expansion initiative which Umpqua Bank announced in late 2008. Umpqua Private Bank - which is led by former Key Private Bank advisor Donna Huntsman - serves clients with $3 million in net worth and $1 million in investable assets.
